April Q&A Craft Club

Project Home Unity is super excited to announce our new Q&A social group: Craft Club! This group will be run for queer autistic adults, with funding from the Australian Government through the National Disability Insurance Agency. The group will be free to access. You do not need to be an NDIS participant or to have a formal diagnosis to access the group, either.
We aim to create a safe and affirming space where queer autistic adults can socialise and engage in craft activities of interest in whatever way they feel is comfortable. Materials for fibre arts, collage, painting, and jewellery making will be supplied. You are also more than welcome to bring your own project! Everything you make, you can take home with you. Food and drinks will also be supplied, including Vegan and GF options.
We acknowledge that everyone has different interests and communication styles, you can engage in the group however feels right for you. It is not mandatory to participate in any of the activities. You can just hang out if you would like! The space also has board games and reading materials that you can use. If you would prefer to engage with these, you are more than welcome to!
